If You Already Own a GivEnergy Battery — Don’t Panic

Your hardware is working as normal, and your savings are very much real. The GivEnergy Cloud monitoring portal is managed by a separate legal entity — GivEnergy Software Ltd — which hasn’t entered administration, so the app still works. Premium cloud features are moving to a paid subscription from May 2026, but local access via Modbus TCP (port 8899) remains free and is the most resilient route if you want to set up Home Assistant integration.
